Refund policy

We have a 14-day return policy, which means you have 14 days after receiving your item to request a return.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

To start a return, you can contact us at info@lanugo.dk. If your return is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right. Please note that the items are made of genuine leather and there can be some minor variations in the leather surface. Its normal and will not be accepted as a claim. 


Exceptions / non-returnable items
Certain types of items cannot be returned, like custom products (such as special orders or personalized items), and personal care goods (such as beauty products).  Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item.

Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.


Exchanges
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.


Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method (Only the payment method you used when you bought it.). Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.

Please try your purchased items carefully. When you try on your products, please avoid making marks in the leather with your fingernails and avoid overstretching the leather and take general good care of genuine leather.

 

Condition of the item you have returned

You are responsible for the condition of the product, and of the decreased value of the goods caused by handling it other than what is necessary to determine the nature, characteristics and function of the goods.
This means, that you have to try the item in the same way as if you were shopping in a physical store.

If the item is tested/used in addition to what is described above, it is considered used and of decreased value. This means, that when the purchase is cancelled, you will receive a minor portion or none of the purchase amount refunded. It is up to Lanugo ApS to evaluate the item's condition.

Warranty

There is a 2-year warranty on products according to the Danish Sales Law. The warranty applies to all errors in software, material and fabrication.
The warranty does not apply when regular wear and tear, defects or damage occurs, due to wrong usage, lack of maintenance or normal wear and tear. 

Complaints regarding errors and defects must be reported to Lanugo ApS in a reasonable time after the goods have been received. We consider 14 days as a reasonable time unless otherwise agreed. We will refund reasonable shipping costs.

The complaint waives the right to warranty if the items are handled improperly or unusually.

Lanugo ApS covers return costs to a reasonable extent.
